BRUNO, Pietro - In loving memory of Pietro Bruno, 94 years, who passed away Wednesday, October 6th, 2010 at the SRH Memorial Site. Beloved husband of Adele (Cirolia) Bruno predeceased 1986. Father of Angela Nardi (Raffaele), Franca Ammirante (Mario), Rosa Zanetti and Sam Bruno (Cheryl). Cherished Nonno of Robert, Lucio, Steven, Julian, Rosella, Mark, Paolo, Piero, Sasha and great grandchildren Luca, Sam, Noah, Maia, and Griffin. Dear son of Salvatore and Angelina (Bozzo) Bruno predeceased. Dear brother of Elvira Dececco (Domenico) both predeceased, Adelina Scornaienco (Vincenzo), Franco (Emilia) both predeceased, Giuseppe predeceased (Franca), Eugenio predeceased (Rosina) Assunta predeceased and Marietta Spadafora (Eugenio) both predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Born in Tessano, Cosenza, Italy Pietro married Adele (Cirolia) in 1939., they moved to Cancada in 1952 settling in Gatchell. He worked for the City of Sudbury for 25 years retiring in 1980. Pietro proudly served in the Italian Army during WW11. He was a devout Roman Catholic who belonged to St. Anthony""s Church. He was an accomplished wine maker and avid gardener whose green thumb produced bountiful vegetables. Pietro will be remembered as a good provider who was devoted to his loving family. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mass in St. Anthony""s Church, 19 Mary St. Sudbury Saturday, October 9th, 2010 at 10:30 A.M.
