Daughter of Clement and Margaret (Delamorandiere) Roque
Sister of Esther (Dave pre-deceased), Karen (Byron pre-deceased), Margaret Ann (George), Arlene (Bob), Nolan (Anita) and Floyd (Laurie).
Pre-deceased by brother-in-law Kenneth Alston and sister-in-law Debbie (DeLuca) Roque.
Sadly missed by 22 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren as well as many nieces nephews and friends.
Elva started her career as an RNA with Sudbury Memorial hospital on the chronic ward where sadly she injured her back and had to go on permanent disability. She was an avid quilter knitter and loved sewing many items for her children and grandchildren.
She was always in her element at Point Grondine Reserve on Mahzenazing Lake where she and her husband built their dream home. She was a strong woman who stood behind her children and grandchildren and fought fiercely for them. Now she dances with angels and holding her husband Kenneth's hand looks down proudly on all of us.

A Celebration of her life will take place at the Veteran’s Memorial Hall, Killarney on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 11am-2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Killarney Health Centre would be appreciated.
