In loving memory of Luciano Buttazzoni. Luciano passed away at Health Sciences North on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024 surrounded by family. He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever be remembered.
He spent a wonderful 60 years with his loving wife Patricia (nee Lachance) and was a cherished father to Silvana (Sharon), Claudia (Andrew, predeceased), and Dino (Tracy). Luciano was fondly known as Nonno to all his adored “cookies”; Brianna (Mathew), Andrew (Keara), Jeffrey, Cassandra, Brayden (Émélie), and Cameron (Morgan). He was a proud Zio to many nieces and nephews.
Born December 13th 1937 in San Daniele Del Fruili, Italy to Emilio and Alma (both predeceased), he was a treasured brother to Elvia (Joe Simon). He immigrated to Canada at 18 years old and began his life as a carpenter, working for Toppazzini Construction for over 30 years.
As a proud Italian, he continued his heritage through his membership at the Caruso Club and was previous member of the Fogolar Furlan Club and The Alpini Society. He will be missed by his friends near and far.

Funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick’s Parish 39 Walford Rd, Sudbury on Friday April 5th, 2024 at 10:30am.
