CAMPANELLI, Maria Lidia - In Loving Memory of Maria Lidia Campanelli (nee Bartolucci) 85 years. Friday, April 26th, 2013 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Beloved wife of Dante Campanelli predeceased 1993. Loving mother of Cristina Campanelli (partner Rob Pylypiw), Ivo Campanelli and Ron Campanelli (wife Willow). Cherished grandmother of Nicco Campanelli. Dear daughter of Alfredo and Santa (Perelli) Batolucci predeceased. Dear sister of Delio Bartolucci (wife Elda), Leda Mattioli (husband Romeo) and the late Ivo Bartolucci predeceased. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Lidia was born and raised in Italy where she married Dante Campanelli in 1957. She moved to Canada in 1958 settling in Blind River moving to Sudbury in 1964. She had an inspired work ethic working at the housekeeper department at Laurentian Hospital retiring in 1993. She was a selfless person who always put her family first. Always a good provider and advocate for her children in whom she took great pride and interest. She was happiest preparing and hosting delicious dinners for them. Her precious grandchild was the bello di Nonna. She will be remembered as a very well liked and respected person whose kindness and pleasant personality was appreciated by all she met. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St., at Hazel St. (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9 p.m. Monday with parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. Monday). Funeral Mass in St. Patrick's Church, 39 Walford Rd., Sudbury Tuesday, April 30th, 2013 at 10 a.m. Entombment in the Park Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
