CAMPBELL, Dale Inez - In loving memory of Dale Inez Campbell 44 years. Some people measure their lives in years, others in the impact they had on others and the company they kept. Dale Campbell measured hers in the latter. The story wasn't sad, just the ending. Dale fought valiantly to the end of her life, but left this world peacefully, surrounded by loving family and friends Wednesday, April 4 at Health Sciences North, but not before giving cancer everything it could handle. Dale is survived by her mother, Inez and predeceased by her father, Ken. Left to carry on her legacy are her siblings - Jim of Thunder Bay, Bonnie (husband Wayne McDonald), Susan (husband Norman Kauhanen) and Tracy, all of Sudbury and Ken (wife Lucie) of Toronto. Dale also leaves behind nephews and nieces Kyle, Derek and Ryan (wife Selina) Kivi, Sarah and Lauren McDonald, Olivia and Sophia Buttazzoni and Connor and Lukas Campbell, along with great nephews Keenen and Matti Kivi and Logan Rumball and great niece Rihanna Kivi. Dale was a longtime personal support worker of Extendicare Falconbridge, where her unique sense of humour and caring touch enhanced the lives of all those for whom she cared. But she was also a wonderful sister, respected colleague and loving friend. Sudbury distributors of Diet Coke will also be holding a vigil (LOL). Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME 252 Regent St., at Hazel St., Sudbury Funeral Mass at Holy Redeemer Church 1887 Bancroft Dr. Monday, April 9th, 2012 at 11 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Parish Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, Dale requested donations be made to Health Sciences North for the purchase of a PET scanner. (Friends may call from 2-5; 7-9 p.m. Sunday).
