CARR, Michael Edmond - The family announces with deep sorrow the sudden passing of Michael Edmond Carr, 53 years, Friday, January 6th, 2012 at Health Sciences North. Beloved husband of 28 years to Terry (Moore) Carr of Sudbury. Loving and proud father of Joshua (Melanie) and Shannon (Sean). Dear son of the late Walter and Gertrude (née Dufort) Carr. Beloved stepson of Rita (Lafreniere) Carr predeceased. Cherished brother of Diane (Gerry) Bradley, Ray (Lorry), Wayne (Deborah) and Marc (Trayce) all of Sudbury. Dear brother-in-law of Mike Moore. Sadly and deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, and their families. Mike was the co-owner of Provincial Doors Inc. and Precision Door Industries Ltd. with his brother Marc. They proudly started their company Provincial Doors in 1988 and worked very hard together to expand and maintain the company they have today. Mike always had a strong work ethic but the true center of his life was his beloved family. Mike was an incredible man and will be remembered by many for his humor, compassion for others and sincerity. He loved making others laugh and cared about everyone around him. Mike enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and camping as well as spending time travelling with his wife. He will be remembered by all, as a great and incredibly caring man, who wore his heart on his sleeve and would help anyone. Memorial Mass in Holy Redeemer Church, Bancroft Drive, Sudbury Thursday, January 12th, 2012 at 1:30pm. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the children's charity of your choice would be appreciated. (Friends may gather at the church after 1pm Thursday).
