CARRIERE, Edna Ida Kathleen (nee Sulphur) - In Loving Memory of Edna Ida Kathleen Carriere (nee Sulphur) Saturday, January 19th, 2013 at St. Joseph's Villa. Born in 1914 in Haileybury, Ontario. Daughter of Vincent and Ida Sulphur (predeceased). Predeceased by her loving husband Armand Michel Carriere in 2005 and loving son Christopher John Carriere in 1999. Survived by her son Michael (Carol), daughters Rochelle Hatton (Jim predeceased) and Gayle Newman (Jack). Also survived by her grandchildren James Hatton, Alison Beatty (Michael), Kimberly Newman Smith (Scott), Andrew Hatton, Karen Newman Stuart (Steven), Kerry Chadderton (Antony), John Newman (Matina), Mark Hatton (Karen), Stephanie Bushey (Kevin), Trevor Carriere (Michelle), Wendy Lauzon (David), 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Edna spent the war years between 1940-1946 raising her two daughters until Armand returned from overseas. She lived a life full of travel, friends and family. She loved bridge which she played into her 90th year. She was a resident of St. Joseph's Villa, Sudbury. At the family's request there will be no visitations or service at this time. Memorial donations to the St. Joseph Foundation would be appreciated. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Arrangements entrusted to the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME.
