CARTER, Julia Ellen (nee Luoma) - Julia's daughters Karina and Kirsti are very sad to announce the sudden passing of their loving mother. Missing her also are her grandchildren Katie, Kirsten, Alli and Brent. She is survived by her brothers Eddy (Lois), Martti (Gloria), Jack (Darlene), David (Maureen) and Arnold and sisters Inga (John), Maila (Ron), Elina (Rick), Helen (Chris) and many nieces and nephews. Julia shared many happy times with cherished friends and touched many lives through her volunteer work “a place in your memory is all that I claim, to pause and look back at the sound of my name“ P.S. say hi to Dad for us. Julia's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at the HENRY WALSER FUNERAL HOME, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519- 749-8467. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 10:30 am with Rev. Shirley Rueller officiating followed by a reception. Cremation.
