Who passed away on Friday, August 17, 2023, in his home in Copper Cliff, Ontario at the age of 55.
Beloved brother of Jessica Dragonfly. Dear son of Suzanne Levesque (pre-deceased) and Robert Caya. Beloved first nephew of Robert Levesque, Diane Levesque Giroux (Jerry), Lise Levesque (pre-deceased), Marc Levesque (Karen), Louise Levesque Jones, and Richard Levesque. Nephew of Yves Caya.
Throughout his life, George’s restless soul led him into a wide variety of jobs ranging from taxi driver to assistant piano technician to heavy machinery operator. But as an irrepressible gearhead, his favorite jobs were tied to driving big trucks. George, known as Maurice in his youth, had taught himself to play the guitar and piano by ear. He also gave a few young people piano lessons. Friends, family, neighbors and co-workers alike described him as kind and gracious. Gone too soon, he will be greatly missed.
