Richard (Rick) Harold Adams, 79, of Sudbury, Ontario, passed away on April 1, 2023.
Rick was born on April 6, 1943 to Wilfred and Lillian (nee Wiltshire) in Sudbury, Ontario. After Rick graduated high school, he went on to study Mining Technologies at Haileybury School of Mines, followed by Mining Engineering at South Dakota School of Mines, where many lifelong friendships were forged.
Rick was predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Lillian, and his siblings Jim (Helen predeceased), Billy, Ken, Jack (Edna predeceased), Pat (Cam), Margaret, Betty (Eugene predeceased). He is survived by his sister Eileen (Bud predeceased). Rick is also survived by Maggie, his wife of over 55 years, daughters Jane and Kate (Ryan), grandchildren Sebastien, Isabelle and Jean-Claude, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 3:00 - 5:00p.m. at Eddie's Restaurant on Regent Street, Sudbury
