In Loving Memory of Carol Simms, 85 years, who passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022. Loving wife of 64 years to Blair Simms (predeceased in 2020). Dear mother of Susan Craig (Bill predeceased), Carrie Simms, and Scott Simms. Cherished 'Nanny' to Carly (Matt), Laura, Keane (Kelsea), Nicolas (Sarah), Torey (Matt), Jenna, Matthew, and Brett (Meg). Great-grandmother to Braeden, Paige, Luke and Norah. Dear daughter of Fred and Vera Lillycrop both predeceased.
Carol was born and raised in Toronto, coming to Sudbury at age 16. She first worked for the Bank of Montreal and later for Sears Canada. Her most cherished moments were the times she spent with her children and grandchildren. Always baking and sending them home with cookies and her “famous” pumpkin roll. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 8th, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. In the RJ Barnard Chapel (Friends may be seated in the Chapel after 1:30 P.M.) Reception to follow.
