CHARETTE, Gertrude (née Hébert) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Sunday, April 3, 2011 at the age of 81 years. Daughter of the late Olivier and of the late Annette (née Sabourin) Hébert. Beloved wife of Léopold Charette of Azilda. Loving mother of Jacques Charette (Nicole) and Hélène Charette (Denis Blondin) both of Orléans, Gaston Charette (Charlene) of Azilda, Nicole Charette of Sudbury, Claire Dahl (Larry) and René Charette (Irène) both of Chelmsford and Denis Charette (Peter) of Burlington. Dear sister of Roland Hébert (Diane), Gérald Hébert (Edna) and Monique Pilon (Maurice) all of Sudbury. Predeceased by her brothers René and Rhéal (Hélène of Ottawa). Sadly missed by her 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In keeping with Gertrude's request, there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 4691, R R 15, Chelmsford. Donations (by cheque only) to the Sudbury Developmental Services (SDS Cedar Residence) would be greatly appreciated.
