- In Loving Memory of Jeannette Charette (nee Lafortune) 92 years Thursday February 24th, 2011 at Extendicare York. Beloved wife of the late Joffre “Joe“ Charette. Loving mother of Raymond (wife Rollande), Richard (wife Diane), Laurier (wife Kelly) and Gilles (wife Mariyln) all of Sudbury. Predeceased by her son Regent (1999). Cherished grandmother of Raymonde (husband Pierre Paquet), Michel (Wife Pu-Wei), Monique (husband Robert Brideau), great- grandmother of Denis, Joel, Stephane and Melanie. Dear daughter of Camille and Yvonne (nee Savard) Lafortune both predeceased. Dear sister of Carmelle, Bella, Lily, Andree, Armande, Normand, Robert, Jacques, Joffre. Predeceased by Reynald, Henri, Florian, Rolland and Rodrigue. Jeannette enjoyed bingo, blueberry picking, sewing, nature cooking and canning. She looked forward to trips to Ottawa. What she enjoyed most was the company of family and friends. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME 252 Regent St. S. Funeral Service in the Lougheed Chapel Monday February 28th, 2011 at 1 pm. Interment in Civic Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
