CHENARD, Fernande Marie - In loving memory of Fernande Marie Chenard (nee Roy), 76 years, Tuesday morning, April 19th, 2011 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. Beloved wife of 54 years of Luc Chenard of Markstay. Will be sadly missed by her sons; Gilles (wife Darlene St. Jacques) of Sudbury, Roger (wife Carol Beaudoin) of Val Caron, Victor (wife Joanne Thibeault) and Paul (wife Charlene Knowlton) both of Embrun and predeceased by Mario (1991). Loving grandmother of Jason, Kevin, Nathalie, Mathieu, Daniel, Stéphanie, Pamela, Amanda, Josée and great grandchildren MacKenzie, Bryce and Connor.Predeceased by her parents Charles and Albertine (nee Lagace) Roy. Dear sister of Irène Castonguay of St. Quentin NB (husband Henri predeceased), Edgar (wife Hélène Grégoire) of Elliot Lake, Anthime (wife Florence Joubert) of Kedgwick NB, Lucille Lebel of St. Quentin (husband Yvon predeceased) and predeceased by Réal, Télesphore (wife Georgette Gendron of Kedgwick), Robert and his wife Laura Galant, Cécile and her husband Adrien Coulombe, Aline, Fernand (wife Simone Gendron of Kedgwick), Charles-Emile and his wife Majella Gendron. Dear aunt of several nieces and nephews. Fernande was born and raised in Kedgwick, New Brunswick. She married Luc Chenard in 1956 and together they came to the Sudbury/Garson area to raise their 5 boys. A devoted member of St Marc's Church, Fernande's family was her priority as she was proud of them all. Her favorite pastime was being surrounded by her children and her grandchildren. A kind and gentle woman, she leaves a rich legacy of love, faith and devotion and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. (at Hazel St.) Sudbury. Funeral Mass at St. Marc's Church, Markstay Monday, April 25th, 2011 at 11:00 am. Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium, Sudbury. Donations in memory of Fernande to Sudbury Regional Hospital Cancer Center, Palliative Care or Masses at St. Marc's Church would be appreciated.
