CHISHOLM, David - In loving memory of David J. Chisholm. After a short illness Saturday, February 12th, 2011 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. Beloved husband of Muriel (nee McNamara) Chisholm. Loving father of Jeff (Nichole). Cherished grandfather of Cameron and Rylan. Dear son of Colin and Lorraine (Charette) Chisholm predeceased. Dear brother of Malcolm (Antoinette) and Colleen predeceased (Roy Thompson). Dear son-in- law of William and Marie-Louise McNamara predeceased. Dear brother-in-law of Rita Martel, Gil McNamara predeceased (Doreen), Ken McNamara (Pat), Merv McNamara (Barb), Ellen Fournier (Terry predeceased) and Len McNamara (Wendy). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Born in Garson, David had worked at the Canadian Tire Store in New Sudbury having over 39 years of service. A man of faith, he celebrated the  Eucharist every Sunday and he had a devotion to St. Brother André. A major sports fan, David was very generous with his time and energy in helping others. He loved his family and he was happiest at family gatherings. David loved life and he lived it to the fullest. The focus of his life was his loving family especially his precious grandchildren in whom he took pride and interest in their activities and accomplishments. Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass in St. Stanislaus Church, Copper Cliff Wednesday, February 16th, 2011 at 10 a.m. Interment in the Civic Cemetery, Sudbury. Prayers 3 p.m. Tuesday. Donations to the St. Stanislaus Church Memorial Fund, Mass for Shut-Ins or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
