CHRISTAKOS, John Nicholas - In Loving Memory of John Nicholas Christakos, 48, Friday, March 8th, 2013 at his residence. Beloved husband of Jennifer (nee Ross). Loving father of Nicholas and Ian. Loving brother of Jim (Sue), Athena (Frank Battaion) and Marisa (John Lamont). Dear brother-in-law of Nancy (Jeff) and Don (Ida). Dear son-in-law of Denis (Shirley) Ross and Dorothy Ross (predeceased). Cherished son of Nicholas and Ruth Christakos (both predeceased). Dear nephew, uncle, and cousin to many. John was a hard worker who was employed by Day Construction. He was devoted to his family. John was happy to be outdoors camping and barbecuing. He enjoyed fixing cars, watching football games with his boys, and finding bargains at yard sales. John spent many hours listening to his favourite musicians. A quiet, spiritual person with a great sense of humour, John had a kind, generous heart and cared deeply for his family. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. (Friends may call 2-4; 7-9pm Tuesday and after 10:30am Wednesday). Funeral Service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, Wednesday, March 13th, 2013 at 11:30am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
