With profound sadness we announce the passing of Vera Cliff, our loving and devoted mother and friend to all whose lives she touched, on April 13, 2024.
She left us while sleeping peacefully at her residence in Hanmer, Ontario. She was in her 93rd year.
Born and raised in Sudbury she married the love of her life, Lorne in 1952. Vera was a stay-at-home Mom and devoted her time to raising her family. Her life was centred on not only her immediate family but her extended family. She loved getting together for special occasions and camping trips especially those to Windy Lake. The church was a very important part of her life. She was a member of St. James in the Valley United church and a long-standing member of the UCW. Right up to the end she participated in cookie baking and fund raisers for the church. God bless Vera until we meet again.
Beloved wife of Lorne Cliff. Loving mother of Wendy Hudyma (Bill), Terry Cliff (Brenda) and Jeff Cliff (Bev). Cherished grandmother of Dustin (Elaina), Trent (Melissa), Amy (Phil), Brock (Kelsey), Scott (Dina), Samantha, Taylor and Kara. She will be missed by her 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
You will be missed Mom, rest in peace with Dad.
