COLASIMONE, Matilde (nee Grassi) - In Loving Memory of Matilde Colasimone (nee Grassi) 96 years. Peacefully, at home, with loving family at her side, on Saturday, February 23rd, 2013. Beloved wife of John Colasimone predeceased 1973. Loving mother of Rose Coulson (Gregg predeceased), and predeceased by Nina Sbrega (Leo), Guido Colasimone, Eda Fitzsimmons (Carl), Henry Colasimone (Thelma), Julie Christopher (Chris). Dear daughter of Angelo and Lucia Grassi both predeceased. Matilde was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, and Zia to many, and will be greatly missed by all of her relatives and friends in Italy and Canada. Matilde was born in L'Aquila, Italy, in 1917 and married John in 1949, coming to Canada shortly thereafter and settling in Capreol. “Ciao Bella!“ Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME HANMER/CAPREOL CHAPEL 4605 Michelle Drive, Hanmer.
