COLBURNE, Gerald “Gerry“ - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerry Colburne, 71 years at Health Sciences North on Friday, March 9th, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of 49 years and best friend of his wife Karen. He was born in Moncton, N.B. Son of predeceased Edward and Irene Colburne. Brother of predeceased Carol MacDonald. Loving father of Chris Gelinas (husband Dean), Tracey Cameron (Farrell) and Trevor. Loving grandfather of Jordana, Josh, Justine, Dylan, Dallas, Bailey, James and Josee. Dear nephew of Jeannine Colburne of Fredericton, N.B. He contributed 43 years to Reedrill, as Sales Manager and retired in 2003. Gerry was a member of Glad Tidings Tabernacle. He took great pleasure in supporting his grandchildren's various sports activities as their #1 fan. He was an advocate of the Conservative Political Party serving various committees. He volunteered for the Canadian Cancer Society and was an avid reader and enjoyed travelling. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Toronto Sick Kids Hospital, ALS Society or Glad Tidings Tabernacle Building Fund.
