COLLINS, Edward “Bert“ - In Loving Memory of Edward “Bert“ Collins 80 years Saturday December 1st, 2012 at Health Sciences North. Beloved husband of Freda (Fitzgerald) Collins of Sudbury. Loving father of Charlie (Kelly) and Julie (Rick Lamoureux) both of Sudbury and predeceased by Ted. Cherished grandfather of Stephanie, Steven, Shaelyn and Abigayle. Dear son of Edward and Neva Collins both predeceased. Dear brother of Alma Van Alstyne of Glenco and Jack (Isabel) of Strathroy. Born in Strathroy, Bert married Freda in Espanola in 1958. He worked for 35 years at the Ministry of Transportation, retiring as the Head of the District Engineering Office in 1988. Bert was proud of his music, especially the fact he wrote, composed and recorded the very successful Christmas song “Little Skidoo“. Funeral Service in the R. J.
