The family announces with great sorrow the passing of Ralph Wayne Conrod at home on Saturday, January 13th, 2024 at 77 years of age.
Wayne was predeceased by his beloved wife, Ingrid, his father, Ralph, mother Beatrice, sister Alene, brother Barry and sister-in-law Lynn.
He is survived by his son Steven (wife Donna), grandson Nicholas (Karly) great granddaughter Callie, whom he cherished dearly. Sister Pauline (Ingolf), brother Dan, Kim, Chester and Sydney (Ingrid). Wayne will also be missed by his extended family and friends. Best known as Poppa Wayne. Being a lifelong resident of Garson, he always had a great story to tell.
Wayne worked for Falconbridge for over 30 years, continuing to work after retiring for Muskoka Delivery Services. He loved fishing, hunting and being outdoors. So many stories and treasured memories, camping stories from the great times spent at camp in River Valley.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Park Lawn Crematorium. A celebration will be announces at a later date by his family.
