COOPER, Maria M - In loving memory of Maria M. Cooper. A resident of Sudbury, Maria passed away at the Sudbury Regional Hospital on Monday, October 4th, 2010 at the age of 55 years. Maria was born in Mindemoya on January 27th, 1955 to Harold (predeceased) and Helen Cooper. She attended Queen""s University and graduated in 1977 with her Bachelor of Music Degree followed by her Bachelor of Education. Having taught for several years at Christian Elementary Schools in Simcoe and Toronto. After her move to Sudbury she was a supply teacher along with teaching private music lessons. She most recently was employed with the Sudbury Taxation Centre. Maria will be missed for her loving, kind and thoughtful ways. She always had a helping hand for those who needed it and was a devout Christian. She leaves to mourn her loss, her mother Helen and siblings Douglas, Danny (Eveleen), Vicki McCarthy (Gordon), Tim and Carol. Also nephews Jonathan (Jennifer), Matthew, David and Robert (Karen). Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent Street, Sudbury, Thursday, October 7th, 2010 at 11:30 am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mindemoya Hospital Auxiliary or charity of choice would be appreciated.
