The family announces with sorrow his death in Sudbury on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at the age of 71 years. Son of the late Roland and the late Claire (née Leroux) Corriveau. Predeceased by his wife Gisèle (née Legault). Loving father of Sylvie Trottier (Derek), Joanne Fex (Michael) Marc Corriveau (Laura) Richard Legault, Lise Lajeunesse (Kris) and Sabrina Legault (Mic). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Nicolas, Natasha, Josée, Tiara, Milla, Olivia, Skyla and Abby. Survived by his siblings Normand, André, Denise Levesque, and Lina Hodges. Predeceased by his brother Daniel.
Ron was always the life of the party with a great sense of humor. His presence was always known and felt. He loved life and lived every day like it was his last. He was a miner for the better part of his career and liked to spend his spare time camping, fishing and let’s not forget blueberry and strawberry picking.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.
