COUFAL, Vaclav “Vic“ - It is with great sadness that the Family announces his passing at Maison VALE Hospice the morning of November 27, 2012 at the age of 88. Loving husband to Germaine (nee Arsenault) who predeceased him on May 19, 2004. Dear Father to Margaret (Richard Brabant), Brian (Patricia), Karen (Kent Barber), Robert (Michelle), and Richard (Jennifer) all of Sudbury, Ontario. Beloved Grandfather “BaBa“ to Ryan & Cole, Zachary & Tyler, Kayleigh & Brady, Kaitlyn & Keegan, and Kohen & Lucas & MacKenzie. Born in the village of Dmamil, Czech Republic, Vic was the last surviving child of Frantisek & Albina Coufal. He is predeceased by his brothers Jaroslav Coufal and Frantisek Coufal. Children from Jaroslov & Wife Marie are two (2) Daughters and one (1) Son: Marie Bendova & Husband Ota and Daughters Kristyna, Barbora & Tereza; Ludmila Donaire & Husband Firmo and Sons Marco & Marcelo; Miloslav Coufal & Wife Dana and Daughter Katerina. Children of Frantisek & Wife Helena are two (2) Sons Frantisek & Mirek: Frantisek & Wife Libuse and Sons Marek & Martin; Mirek is single with no children. Vaclav will be dearly missed by all of his family and many friends. A devout and devoted Roman Catholic member of Holy Redeemer Church, Dad was a special blessing who touched every life he encountered and always left a smile. He worked 38.5 Years at INCO Limited and upon his Retirement he dedicated the remainder of his life to his God and his Family and Volunteer Work. Friends are invited to share his memory at LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent Street at Hazel Street, Sudbury, Ontario, Friday November 30th, 2012 from 2 PM to 5 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM, with prayers at 2 PM. Funeral Mass in Holy Redeemer Church, 1887 Bancroft Drive, Sudbury on Saturday December 1st, 2012 at 11:00 AM. The Family is so appreciative of the Care and Compassion shown by the Staff and Volunteers at Maison VALE Hospice. In lieu of flowers, the Family would appreciate donations to Maison VALE Hospice or The Sudbury Food Bank.
