COURVILLE, Richard (Dick) - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the age of 82 years. Son of the late Aldège Placide and Berthe (née St. Pierre) Courville. Beloved husband of Vi “Curly“ Campbell. Predeceased by Alice Courville (née Laforest) predeceased in 1982. Loving father of Debra Anne Courville of Oakville, Brian Paul Courville (Carolyn) of Newmarket and Darren Richard Courville of Burlington. Dear brother of “Mickey“ Mignonne Yvette Beaudry, Claire J. Samborski (Moe), Conrad Courville and “Dan“ Daniel Frank Courville (late Carmen) all of Sudbury. Predeceased by his brothers Claude and Garry Aldege Courville. Richard was an entrepreneur, a pilot and an accomplished musician. He had a passion for music, was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed fishing, golfing and flying in his younger years. He also enjoyed going to the Legion, Branch 76, Minnow Lake. Richard was a loving father and grandfather. He will sadly be missed by his grandson Colin Richard Courville of Burlington and all his nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends for a funeral service to be held at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Donations (by cheque only) to Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
