She is survived by many nieces and nephews along with many great nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her ability to make everlasting friendships everywhere she goes. She will also be remembered for her strength, resilience and persistence and not just since her cancer diagnosis.

At a young age Bev was taken out of High School in grade 9 to help raise her brothers and sisters; at 19 she was married and started a family. By the time she was in her early 20’s she decided to put herself through University all while being a single mother. It was there she met her husband John and made a wonderful life together raising their two kids. Their life together moved them a few times through Ontario, finally settling in Sudbury, where she had a very successful and rewarding career as an addictions councilor. At the young age of 53 Bev and John retired and were able to move and build a home in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and vacation there for 6 months of the year. It is there they also made many friends during their 20 year return residencies. She will be missed by so many who knew her. Bev’s family would like to acknowledge Dr G and the incredible staff at HSN 4th floor Palliative Care especially Britinni and Erin who went above and beyond to make sure Bev’s short stay at the hospital was comfortable. Their kind and compassionate care for our mom and family members for which we will be forever grateful.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date
