COZZARINI, Erminio - In loving memory of Erminio Cozzarini, 84 years, who passed away Monday, June 22nd, 2009 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital-Laurentian Site. Loving husband of 60 years to Tina (nee Fabris) of Sudbury. Cherished father of Carmen, Vivian (Joe McGuire), Elio (Mary), Lillian (Malcolm Gilbert). Beloved Nonno to Antonia, Natalie, Kathleen, Lauren, Mario and Anthony. Dear uncle to Linda (Richard), Lucio (Judy), Nevio, Sandra (Ches), Flavia, Lidia, Marina, Valeria, Regina, Angelo, Luigi predeceased, Dino, Luciano, Maria Teresa, Roberto, Milvia, Sergio, Marianno, Claudio, Luigino, Fabio, Francesca, Stefania, Michele and Alberto. Predeceased by his parents, Luigi and Marina and siblings Maria, Tarcisio, Carmela, Luigia, Irma, Ferruccio in Italy and Rosina from Sudbury, brother-in- law of Erminio (Nella predeceased), Bepi predeceased, Maria (Gian), Severina (Silvano predeceased) and Pietro (Bruna). Erminio was born in San Giovanni di Casarsa, Italy in 1924. He immigrated to Canada in 1951 and was joined soon afterwards by his wife Tina. He was a devoted husband and father. Erminio was a dedicated worker at INCO in Creighton Mine for 35 years and a Steward at the Creighton Employees' Club. He was a leader in the community by his involvement in many activities such as Knights of Columbus, the St. Michael's Youth Choir, the Creighton Badminton Club, the Caruso Choir, the Fogolar Furlan, the St. Charles Snowball Dances, the St. Patrick's Choir and the Cavaliere della Patria. Erminio was passionate about music, working with youth and organizing many fundraising and community events. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick's Church, 39 Walford Road, Sudbury Saturday, June 27th, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in St. Stanislaus Cemetery Prayers 7:30 p.m. Friday.
