CRANSTON, Mary Helen - In Loving Memory of Mary Helen Cranston, 81 years, peacefully Sunday, July 29th, 2012 at Health Sciences North. Predeceased by her husband Albert Leslie Taylor. Beloved mother of Dorthy predeceased (husband Toad Roque), Elizabeth (husband Clarence Wheatley), Ruth Prince (friend Ray Guillemette), Bob Taylor (wife Mary-Ellen) and Bill Taylor (wife Wendy). Cherished Gramma Mary to Troy, Trevor, Cal, Krista, Brandon, Bryton, Melissa, Jessica, Holly, Stephanie, Julie and 11 great grandchildren. Dear daughter of Bertha and Eward Cranston predeceased. Loving sister of Faye, Wilma, Eileen, Bill, Henry, Julia, Alice, Lois and predeceased by Harry, Harvey, Betty, Dick and Melissa. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Born and raised on Manitoulin Island, Mary moved to Sudbury in the early fifties. She was an avid gardener whose green thumb produced beautiful flowers and bountiful vegetable. She was an excellent cook who was happiest when hosting and preparing dinners for family and friends. The priority of her life was her loving family especially her precious grandchildren who were her treasures. She took great pride and interest in their activities and accomplishments and she will be their guardian angel in Heaven. Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury (Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and after 10:30 a.m. Thursday). Funeral Service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel Thursday, August 2nd, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. Interment in the Civic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung Association or charity of choice would be appreciated).
