In Loving Memory of Carmela “Rita” Cristo (nee Vitiello), 95 years, who passed on Friday, June 30, 2023, at Health Sciences North, Sudbury.
Beloved wife of Raffaele Cristo predeceased 2005. Loving mother of Silvio Cristo (wife Dale). Cherished Nonna of Selena (husband Paul Williams), Christopher (wife Cindy), and Neil (wife Kelly), and great-grandchildren Matthew, Logan, Tyler, and Riley, and great-great-grandchild Maeve. Dear daughter of Francesco and Maria Vitiello predeceased. Dear sister of Gemma (husband Leonardo) both predeceased, Civita (husband Silverio predeceased), Anna Maria (husband Silverio) both predeceased, Antonio (wife Rachelle). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Rita was an avid walker who enjoyed feeding the birds. A highlight of her life was having Sunday dinner with her family.
In lieu of flowers donations to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated. The family expressed their appreciation to the staff at Lasalle Residence, especially to Alida for their excellent care and support.
