CROSS, Douglas Hilton - In Loving Memory of Douglas “Doug“ Hilton Cross, 75 years, Sunday morning, November 4th, 2012 at his home. Beloved father of Ruth (Erik Seyler) and Wendy (Mitch McKee). Cherished grandfather of Robbie, Christie, Alicia, Ashley, Amanda, Chris and great grandchildren Cassie, Allie, Hannah, Benjamin, Caileigh, Carter, Lily, Parker and Lola. Dear son of Edward and Lily Cross both predeceased. Dear brother of Robert (Lucille) and Mavis (Sydney White). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and their families. Born in Toronto, Doug worked as a guard at Burwash and then at the Sudbury Airport in security and firefighting. He was a member of the Blue Knights and a founding member of Citizens on Patrol. Over the years, he enjoyed the time spent on his motorcycle. Funeral Visitation at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Friday, November 9th, 2012, 2-5pm and 7-9pm, with prayers at 4:30pm. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
