In loving memory of Alexander (Sam) Thomas Cummings
Born on March 23, 1947 in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia who sadly passed away on February 13, 2024. Loving son of Thomas Willis and Florence Cummings (nee Taylor) both predeceased. Loving and kind father of Chris (Frankie) and Lisa Cummings.
Fondly remembered by his friend Jean and the mother of his children. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Carley (Jordan), Tyrell, Andrew, Kordell and Kali and his great grandchild Sofia (mother Kat).
Loving brother of Mary (Robert Quesnel), Joyce (Pete Schlorff), twin Sandra (Ray Guenette) and Joan (Keith Armstrong). Alex also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Sadly missed by his long time friend and dart partner Rolly. Alex also leaves behind his sweet companion Pepper who he adored.
Alex's wit and humor made people feel welcome. He will be missed by many and the grief will be felt in the loss of a very kind dear friend, coworker and neighbor. He worked for many years at the Sudbury Supermall and ended his career at Canadian Tire, following in his father's footsteps. He will truly be missed.
The family would like to say a special thank you to all the staff at HSN who took care of him the last few weeks in the emergency department and 6 South. A special thank you to Jacob for your compassion and support through this difficult time.
In Alex fashion with his ball cap turned backwards and his signature wave and awesome smile...till we meet again. Keep winning at darts Dad and cheering on the Bruins!
