CURTIS, Marie (Claire) - In loving memory of Marie “Claire“ Curtis, 54 years, Wednesday, March 30th, 2011 at her residence. Beloved mother of Henry, Ricky and Kayla. Will be missed by her special friend Chris. Loving daughter of Ernest (predeceased) and Leona (Brousseau) Curtis of Sudbury. Dear sister of Stella Curtis, Barbara Whynder (Guy), Dan Curtis (Kim), Patsy Curtis, Leo Curtis (Zita), Anna Hamilton and Willie Curtis. Remembered by her many nieces and nephews and her feline companion Chi Chi Girl. Claire was a devoted member of the Lockerby Legion. She volunteered with Bell Park, Terry Fox Complex, Lily Creek Park and sat on the Board for many years for the Northern Lights Festival. A Memorial Service will be held in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury Saturday, April 2nd, 2011 at 4pm. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Pet Save would be appreciated. (Friends may call after 3:45pm on Saturday).
