DABOUS, Betty Leila Seppala - February 12, 1928 - May 3, 2011 - Passed away peacefully in her sleep. She is survived by her husband Wilfred of 62 years and children Robert (wife Shelagh), Philip and Paul (wife Laila). Mumma's grandchildren were the “apples of her eye“: Emily Taylor (Justin), John (wife Lisanne), Lizzie, Alexander, Liana and special “GG“ to Molly Jane Taylor of Inuvik, N.W.T. Dear daughter of William Seppala and Laura Jacobson both predeceased. Betty was the eldest of seven sisters: Laureen Rymer, Judy Erola, Mabel Moskal, Doreen Winnett (Bill), Vicky Osbourne (predeceased) and Joan Miller (Gary). She is remembered by her many aunts with whom she was very close throughout her life. Fondly remembered by Sonny (Allan) and Audrey Dabous, Flora Vendramin (predeceased), Lino and Joan and Joseph Pintur. “Auntie“ Betty will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Betty and Wilf were successful partners in Betty Dabous Ladies Wear for over 25 years. She was a well-known and respected business woman. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel Friday, May 6th, 2011 at 1pm. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
