Davies, Carol

It is with great sadness the family of Carol Davies announces her passing on Saturday November 21st, 2020 at 73 years of age.

Carol was born in Massey on September 12th, 1947 to William and Florence Hansen (predeceased). She was one of five siblings - Janet (predeceased), Brenda, Peggy (Arnie), and Donna, whom she will be fondly remembered by.

Carol spent many dedicated years working at Cambrian College and continued to walk the halls post-retirement with her monthly Avon deliveries. Together Carol and Alfred (predeceased) were able to create lovely memories travelling abroad and spending time with family and their many friends.

Carol will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her children Laura, Robbie (Anna), step children Glenis (Mike) and Alison (Jason), and her 12 grandchildren Kelsie, Kurtis, Katarina, Keifer, Keenan, Christian, Mila, Nicholas, Victor, Victoria, Morgan and Paige and one great grandchild, whom she cherished, Beckam-Alfred; he will never forget his Gigi. As well as many other relatives and friends.

Carol, a fighter until the very end, ultimately succumbed to heart issues, yet in the loving words of her youngest grandson “there was nothing wrong with her heart!”. Resilience and drive pushed her to create a beautiful life which she loved, and her warm spirit made her a friend to everyone who knew her. She will be sadly missed, and never forgotten.
