DeKORT, Helen - In Loving Memory of Helen DeKort (nee Tanghe), 92yrs, Wednesday, December 28th, 2011 at Pioneer Manor. Beloved wife of Joseph DeKort predeceased 1999. Loving mother of Betty Quesnel (Jean-Guy) of Levack. Cherished grandmother of Mark (Melanie) of Levack, Jennifer (Paul Day) of Sudbury and David (Lisa) of Oro-Medonte, Ontario and great grandmother of Matthew and Tristin. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Martha Tanghe, sister Madeline Warner and sister-in-law Mary DeFraeye. Dear aunt to her nieces and nephews especially Laura and Greg Jahan and their daughter Lesley of Ottawa. Helen loved to cook for her family and was a great card player. She was the happiest when surrounded by her loving family especially her grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at St. Bartholomew’s Church, Levack on Saturday, April 14th, 2012 at 11 a.m. followed by the interment at Maplecrest Cemetery.
