DELAIRE, Irène (née Davis) - The family announces with sorrow her passing on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Maison Vale Hospice at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of 73 years to Ben Delaire. Daughter of the late Jack and Nellie Davis. Loving mother of Bob (Jeannette), late Claudette Watts (late Ken), Diane Girard (late Jacques), Claire Brideau (late Gerard), Aline Anderton (Bernie), Denise Beaulieu Wylie (Dave) and Monique Beausoleil (Gerald). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She leaves behind her siblings: Joseph (late Thérèse), Leon (Rita), Marguerite Lepage (Aimé), Paul (Eileen) and Richard (Brenda). Irene loved to play bingo and knit dishcloths for whoever wanted them. She also loved to play cards and in her younger days loved camping with Ben. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Irene lived her final years at the Lasalle Residence Retirement Home. The family expresses its appreciation to the staff at the Lasalle Residence and Vale Hospice. A special thank you to her granddaughter Janice for the special care she gave to her grandmother. A funeral service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
