DELAIRE, Rolande - DELAIRE, Rolande (Mayer)(nee Marcotte) – The family announces with sorrow her passing on October 25th, 2011 at the age of 93. Daughter of the late Joseph and Georgiana (Decourville) Marcotte. Beloved wife of Edgar Delaire and Gerald Mayer predeceased in 1973. Loving mother of Claire Bouillon (Gerard/Sonny) of Azilda, Pierrette Ouellet (Rock predeceased) of Alberta, Nicole Tessier (Bob), Richard Mayer (Yvonne) and Monique Gervais (Lucien) all of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of 15 grandchildren, one predeceased and 18 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Albert (Aurore), Laurent (Leonie), Jean Paul (Aurea), Yvonne (Andrew), Blanche (Valmore), Marguerite (Raoul), Emilien (Desneiges), Jeanne (Aime), Yolande (Bertrand) and Gabrielle (Laurent) all predeceased and survived by Rene (Jeanne d’Arc). Rolande will be remembered for her hospitality and generosity as her home and camp were opened to all. Special thank you to Dr. Roch and the staff on 2nd and 3rd floor at Falconbridge Extendicare whose care and devotion made a difference in our mom’s life. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home. The family will receive relatives and friends for a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, November 8th, 2011 at 10:30am in St-Jean-de-Brebeuf Church. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
