DELANGE, Elizabeth Ann 'Lil' (nee Thomas) - In Loving Memory of Elizabeth Ann 'Lil' deLange (nee Thomas), 89 years. Lil passed away peacefully on January 18, 2013 at the Maison Vale Hospice. Born in Llangefni Wales, June 18, 1923, Lil was predeceased by her parents Owen and Ellen Mary (Roberts) Thomas. Beloved wife of Henry (predeceased 2010). They were married in Holyhead, North Wales on August 5, 1943. At the end of WWII, they moved to the Netherlands and later to Canada in 1952. Cherished mother of Anna Janssen (Willi) of Calgary, Ellen Gorecki (Stephen) of Lively and David (Colleen) of Calgary. Cherished grandmother of David (Stacey), Andrea (Al), Sabine, Megan, Victoria, Owen and Sarah and great grandmother of Logan, Charlotte and Jenna. Loving sister of Beryl Jones (Glyn predeceased), Gwyneth Roberts (Danny predeceased and Robert) and Glyn (predeceased). Lil was an avid gardener and enjoyed playing the piano. She was an active member of Knox Presbyterian Church. The family would like to thank Dr. Tenhunen and all the caregivers at the hospice for their excellent, compassionate care. Donations to the Maison Vale Hospice or the Knox Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund would be much appreciated. Memorial Service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Saturday, January 26th, 2013 at 2pm. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
