January 14, 1944 – December 6, 2021

Today we announce the passing of our father, brother, grandfather, mentor to many and the Patriarch of our family.
Beloved father to Tracey (Moe), Darryl (Ashley), Chad, Mike (Angelle), Kevin, and recently discovered daughter, Monique.
Cherished grandfather to Andrew, Chris, Taylor, Karson, and Halo
Great grandfather to Nadia, Raelin, Andrew, Haven, and Preston.
Known to many as Papa Ike
Will forever be missed and always remembered by his close friend Mike Taus, as well as many, many long time friends.
Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Our dad had a soft spot for his “grandpuppies” and they were always so happy to see Papa.
Our family has been left with a void that can never be filled.
Mike will always be remembered for his jokes, and sense of humor, and recently said “I will be looking down on you all, as I sure don’t want to be looking up.
His favorite activity was enjoying a Crown Apple at The Nash. He was a fixture there for over 50 years and could be found sitting in the same spot. Our father was the founder of Delongchamp Recovery Services and was known to many in the industry. He was a Blackhawks fan, loved his Sunday football, and was an avid Patriots fan.

We would like to thank Dr Shivakumar for her constant and compassionate care for the last 11 years. Thank you to Dr. Mulloy for being a friend and physician for over 40 years.
A very special thank you to the 4th Floor South Tower nurses for their outstanding care of our dad in the recent weeks, specifically our dads niece Amy, Jamie, Jen, and Nat. They all went above and beyond for us at all times.
We wish to thank Trevor for his support and generosity during the final days of our dads life.
A heartfelt thank you to Denise and Rick Lefebvre for being a constant support to us, best friends to our father, and always there, no matter what. There are no words for everything you have done for him.
We want to say we love you dad. For all the years we have had, it wasn’t enough. You will always be our hero, and we thank you for being our dad.
With respect to his wishes, there will be no funeral service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations will be appreciated to the Cancer foundation in his memory.
