DELOREY, James 'Jim' G.F. - In loving memory of James 'Jim' G.F. Delorey, 45 years, Thursday, September 3rd, 2009 at his residence. Born & raised in Sudbury, he moved to the Toronto area in the early nineties. He was a skilled carpenter having most recently worked for Chrysler Co. for 10 years. Jim enjoyed photography specializing in black & white photography and he was an accomplished musician with a passion for classical, acoustic & bass guitar, piano, organ and bagpipes, always seeking perfection in his performances. He had a great affinity for animals. Jim will be remembered as a gentle and generous person who was quick to help others. The light of his life will continue to inspire and influence all he knew. His wit and wisdom will be sadly missed by never forgotten by his loving family and friends. Beloved son of John Ronald and Cecilia Anne (MacNeil) Delorey, predeceased. Loving brother of Anne Hubert, Neil (wife Susan), Ian (wife Betty), Mary (husband Dave Murray), Kate (husband Dave Bailey), Jean (husband Alvin Jobst) and the late Cal (1961) and Ronnie (1949) both predeceased. Special uncle to many loving nieces and nephews. Sadly missed by his canine buddy Sailor and feline friends Batman and Julie. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mass in St. Mathieu's Church, McFarlane Lake Tuesday, September 8th, 2009 at 10 AM. Cremation with interment in the family plot at the Civic Cemetery. Prayers 3 PM Monday. Donations to the SPCA or charity of your choice would be appreciated.(Friends may call 2-5; 7-9 PM, Monday).
