It is with profound sadness that the family of Ross William Depatie share his passing on Saturday July 17, 2021, at the young age of 55 years after a heroic battle with cancer. He died as he lived, with courage and dignity surrounded by his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife and soulmate Sharri (Chevrier), his son Ryan, his mum Mary, his dad Ray (predeceased), his sisters Kim Lamoureux and brother-in-law Moe, Kelly Depatie and brother-in-law Steven and brothers Kevin Depatie and Chris (predeceased). Sadly missed by Gail and Gus Chevrier, brother-in-law Stephen Chevrier, nieces Kaitlyn and Paige Chevrier, as well as his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Ross was the much-loved grandson of Horace and Alice Depatie and Bill and Jenny McIvor (all predeceased). Ross was a skilled and respected tradesman who worked for many years with family and friends at Nu North Mechanical and in later years at Vale. He was an intensely proud and private man who enjoyed the outdoors and loved his trips to camp. He did everything with his whole heart, whether it be building a home, a plane, working on an antique car or playing guitar. He was a kind and compassionate man who always put his family first and he did it all with a wicked wit and wonderful sense of humour. He will be sorely missed.

We would like to thank Dr. Gopalakrishan, Dr. Cano, Dr. Middaugh, Dr. Singh and team, CBI nurses, as well as his nurses on 4 North, Tammy, Jen, Tiana and Josee for the exceptional care.
