DESFORGES, Ernestine - 1926 - 2011, 85, of Residence Bellevue, Dieppe, passed away on Wednesday, October 26th, 2011 at the Dr. Georges - L. Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB. Born in Blind River, ON. She was the daughter of late Harry and Ida (nee Lapointe) Leblanc. She was pre-deceased by husband, Adelard Antoine in March 2011; Two sons Michael and Aurele as well as brothers Thor, Oscar, George, and Jim and sisters Norma, Eva, Isabelle and Doreen. She is survived by one daughter Claudette (John) Jordan of Marathon, On; two sons Donald (Claudette) Desforges of Dieppe, NB and Richard (Leila) Desforges of Thunder Bay, On., one sister Simone (Harold) Everitt of Blind River, 8 Grandchildren; 14 Great grandchildren as well several nieces nephews. Visiting will be held at the MENARD FUNERAL HOME, Blind River on Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. at St. James the Greater Parish, Blind River. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Cancer Society and/or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
