Claude Denis DesLauriers passed away where he loved to live at his cottage on the French River on Friday September the 24th.

He leaves behind many family and friends including his son Daniel DesLauriers, his Brothers Leo DesLauriers (wife Dianne), Robert DesLauriers (wife Dianne Chabot), Carole DesLauriers (husband Yves Morissette).  Uncle of Eric and Rene, Jocelyn. He is predeceased by his mother Annette Bison and father Paul DesLauriers.

Claude spent his life working in hospitals assembling and repairing medical equipment in the physics department. He is acknowledged to have assembled the first CAT Scan machine at Sudburys St. Joseph hospital. He recently retired from the North Eastern Ontario Cancer Center where he maintained the machines responsible for caring for and saving many peoples lives with Cancer.

He will be remembered by many from his local watering holes including The 1500 Pub, Grumblers and The Beausejour.

A Celebration of Life will take place at The Nickel City Hotel at 252 Hazel St. in Sudbury from 1pm-6pm on October 23rd.
