DEVEAU, Anne Marie Elizabeth (nee Saulnier) - In loving memory of Anne Marie Deveau (nee Saulnier), 79 years, of Levack, who passed away Sunday, July 12th, 2009 at the SRH - Laurentian Site. Anne Marie was born in Weymouth, N.S. and married John Deveau in 1946 in Weymouth, N.S. A longtime and well liked Levack resident, Anne was a devout Roman Catholic who attended St. Bartholomew's Church and she had been a member of the parish CWL. She had a wonderful green thumb that produced beautiful flowers in her garden. She enjoyed knitting and giving her creations to family and friends. She was an excellent cook who made delicious pies and fudge. She will be remembered as an opinionated person who was devoted to her loving family. Beloved wife of John Deveau of Levack. Loving mother of Bernie (Linda) of Levack, David of Trinity House Sudbury, Walter predeceased, Joanne of Trinity House Sudbury, Mary predeceased, and Vernon (Josie) of Sudbury. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear daughter of Gerald and Mary (Belliveau) Saulnier predeceased. Dear sister of 5 brothers and 1 sister all predeceased. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mass in St. Bartholomew's Church, Levack Friday, July 17th, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment in the Maplecrest Cemetery.
