DORION, Roger Leonard Joseph - After a courageous battle with colon/liver cancer Roger Dorion, age 54 passed away on May 25, 2011 in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Sudbury, Ontario on November 15, 1956. he is survived by his parents, Denis and Madeleine (nee Lapierre) of Sudbury; his wife Mary (nee Greenwood) of Hudson Twp and her children, Jake Winters (predeceased in 2010); Jeremy winters (Amber) and grandson, Riley of North Bay, daughter-in-law Roseann Winters and grand-daughter Paige of Harris Twp; brother-in-law Walter Greenwood (Kathy) of New Liskeard; sister-in-law Helen Legg (Les) of Edmonton. Also, left mourning are his sisters, Lise Pichette (Rick) of Val Caron, Pauline Roy (Ron) of Elliot Lake and Nicole Pauze (Ray) of Capreol. He is also survived by his children, Michel Dorion of Winnipeg, Daniel Dorion (Sarah) and grand-daughters, Emma, Gwen, Nia of Portsmouth, England and his step-daughter, Monique Raymond of Sudbury. He will also be missed by his nephews, David Greenwood, Eric and Luc Pichette, Craig Roy and Brandyn Pazse. Roger will be sadly missed by many close friends as well as co-workers from the Royal Bank. Roger's family will receive family and friends at PERRIN'S FUNERAL HOME, on Sunday, May 29, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Celebration of his life will follow on Monday, May 30th at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Anglican Church, Rev. Linda White officiating. In Roger's memory donations can be made to Community care cancer Support-Temiskaming Hospital or Bassin' for Kids.
