DOUCETTE, Lynda Christine Baxter - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of our dearly beloved Lynda. After a short battle with cancer, Lynda died peacefully with her family by her side in Lindsay, on Monday, October 31st, 2011, at the young age of 62. Her memory will be cherished by her husband of 37 years Robert, son Stephen and wife Laura, daughter JoAnne and partner Barry, and her three adored grandchildren Benjamin, William and Mason. Lovingly remembered by her mother Judith Todd (George) and her sister JoAnne (Robert). Predeceased by her father Archibald Baxter. Sadly missed by Yvette (Jim), Adrianne (Gail), Maryanne (Gerry), predeceased by Theresa (David). Remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, November 3rd from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. with a service celebrating her life at St. Joseph's Parish (127 Liberty St. S., Bowmanville 905- 623- 3233) on Friday, November 4th at 11:00 a.m. Special thanks to Dr. Jones and all the nurses in the 3rd floor ICU at Ross Memorial Hospital, your genuine care, concern and compassion sustained us in our time of greatest need.
