(November 30th, 1938 – January 26th, 2024)
The family announces the sudden death of Arnot Doussept Friday January 26, 2024, in Sudbury at the age of 85 years.
Son of the late Wilma Lachance (née Barry) and the late Oris Doussept.
Arnot is survived by his beloved wife Arlene of 46 years and his children, Lesley (Darin Bottrell), Shelly (Richard Dixon), Colin (Rose) (Calgary), Darrell (Helene), Mandy (Al), Ted (Tracey) and Stacey (Mike) (British Columbia). He leaves behind his 13 grandchildren and his 6 great grandchildren.
Also survived by sisters Connie Desbiens (late Aurele) and Betty Wright (Harry), by his brothers John Doussept (Pauline), Ken Doussept (Colleen), William as well as by his many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brothers Glen and Ted and his sisters Edith and Joyce.
Arnot retired from Inco in 1993 and lived in the Sudbury area all of his life. He was a longtime resident of Skead however most recently he lived in Copper Cliff.
There will be no visitation.
