DOVIGI, Annie (nee Rudakewicz) - In loving memory of Annie (nee Rudakewicz) Dovigi, 88 years, peacefully Wednesday, April 6th, 2011 at her residence. Beloved wife of Angelo Dovigi predeceased 1985. Loving mother of Edward (wife Patricia), Larry (wife Jocelyn) and Ron (wife Rachelle). Cherished grandmother of Natalie (husband Shawn Robinson), Stephanie (husband Jeff Christink), Jennifer (Mario Gargaro), Krista (husband Rob Rheault), Kyle, Christine; great grandchildren Patrick (Samantha), Talia, Ryan, Baylee, Xander, Lia; and great great grandchildren Rowan and Taelyn. Special grandmother to Tessa Jules. Precious daughter to Michael and Sophia Rudakewicz predeceased. Lovingly remembered by relatives in Sault Ste. Marie. Annie was born in Poland, moving to Canada in 1929 and settling in the Sudbury area in 1933. She married Angelo in 1940 in Sudbury and was a longtime and well- respected resident of Gatchell. A devout Roman Catholic, she attended St. Anthony's Church and she was a life member of the parish CWL. She was an avid gardener whose green thumb produced bountiful vegetables. She was an accomplished seamstress. The focus of her life was her family. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. They are comforted by the knowledge that she is reunited with her dear husband, father and mother and they are their guardian angels in Heaven. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mass in St. Anthony's Church, 19 Mary St., Sudbury Saturday, April 9th, 2011 at 10:30am. Interment in the family plot at the Park Lawn Cemetery. Prayers 4:30pm Friday. Donations to the Parkinson's Foundation or Mass for Shut- Ins would be appreciated.
