Ray was born and raised in Sudbury and very proud of his home town. He enjoyed his 40 year career in the grocery business as salesman, store manager, marketing and pricing specialist and store owner for Dominion, Loeb and National Grocers. He had a generosity of spirit and humour. He volunteered in service groups such as the Jaycees, as a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus and on political campaigns for Jim Gordon, Diane Marleau and Rick Bartolucci. Ray had many interests. He was as excellent dancer, loved fishing and golfing and could grow anything from seed. He took pride in his yard, especially his perfect lawn. He was a self- taught techie, starting with a Commodore 128 and graduating to the newest, biggest computer on the PC market. He specialized in graphics, and loved designing cards for his friends and family. We will miss Ray, but we take heart knowing that he is finally with his Beloved dogs Sasha and Eddie.
