Son of the late Leopold and of the late Jeanne D'Arc (née Gagnon) Ducharme. Beloved husband of Diane Ducharme (née Diotte) of Sudbury. Loving father of Mathieu Ducharme (Kathryn Stiles) of Sudbury and Julie Ducharme of Mississauga. Dear brother of Marguerite Poirier (Aimé) and Gérard Ducharme both of Sturgeon Falls, Guy Ducharme (friend George Gagnon) of Matane Qc, Gaëtan Ducharme (Leonne ) of Sudbury , Claude Ducharme and Marie- Anne Fontaine both of Windsor, Thérèse Bianchi (Guiseppe) of Caledon, Marie- Luce Ducharme of Burlington and Nicole Perlinger (Clarence) of Handel Saskatchewan. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. He worked as a technician at Muirheads for many years where he made many friends and will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humour. André fought many courageous and pain staking battles during his life and leaves a rich legacy of love and many friendships with the people he knew. A sincere thank you to all staff of Pioneer Manor, VON Adult Day Centre, Handi- Transit, Knights of Columbus, members of Warm Hearts, ExtendicareYork and St- Joseph's Continuing Care. He touched many lives and his spirit will live on forever. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Monday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in St- Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to Victorian Order of Nurses, (Adult Day Centre), Sudbury would be greatly appreciated
